About us:
Bosworth Independent School, previously known as Bosworth Independent College, is a co-educational public school (English fee-charging boarding and day school) located in Northampton, England. It's a member of the 12 Cats Colleges, recognized nationally for top-performing grades at GCSE and A-Level in the UK.
The school was established in 1977 as a small tutorial college. Today, it stands as a leading independent boarding school in the UK, renowned for its excellent academic results, established university links, and a caring and supportive ethos that has garnered an enviable reputation. The school's commitment to quality education and student welfare has made Bosworth a prominent name in British independent education.
As of February 22, the institution has changed its name from Bosworth Independent College to Bosworth Independent School. This change reflects the recent introduction of years 7 & 8, marking its new identity as a true independent secondary school catering to ages 11 – 19. This indicates the school's expansion and development to provide a more comprehensive educational experience.
The school is recognized as a small and inclusive institution, delivering a full and supportive day and boarding experience to students from over 30 countries. Since its establishment, the school has offered a range of pathways, including GCSEs and A Levels, primarily catering to international students aged 13 to 18 years (Years 7-13).
