Churcher’s College
About us:
Churcher's College is an independent, co-educational day school located in Petersfield, Hampshire, England. It was founded in 1722 by Richard Churcher to educate boys to become "navigators and seamen". The school started with an initial focus on naval education but has since evolved into a broader academic institution.
As of my last update in April 2023, Churcher's College offers education from junior level (ages 3–11) through to the senior school (ages 11–18). The college is known for its strong academic record, with students achieving high results in GCSEs and A-Levels. It offers a wide range of subjects, with a particular emphasis on science, mathematics, and the humanities.
Beyond academics, the school has a strong emphasis on extra-curricular activities, including sports, music, drama, and various clubs and societies. These activities are designed to develop students' skills and interests beyond the classroom.
The campus of Churcher's College features modern facilities, including science laboratories, a performing arts centre, and extensive sports fields. The school is also known for its commitment to sustainability and has implemented various eco-friendly initiatives.
Churcher's College maintains a house system, which encourages a sense of community and friendly competition among students. The school also has a strong tradition of community service, encouraging students to engage in various local and international projects.
For the most current information about Churcher's College, including its academic programs, extracurricular activities, admissions, and fees, it would be best to visit the school's official website or contact them directly.
