About us:
Alton School is a successful independent Catholic day school located in Alton, Hampshire. It's a co-educational institution that serves a wide age range of students, from as young as 6 months to those in the Sixth Form, attracting pupils from various parts of Surrey and Hampshire including Winchester, Basingstoke, Farnham, and Petersfield.
The school is situated on a 19-acre campus on the outskirts of Alton and caters to approximately 450 pupils of all faiths. The comprehensive educational structure includes a nursery, prep, senior, and 6th form, ensuring a continuous and well-rounded educational journey from early years through to pre-university level.
Alton School is committed to making its education accessible to a wide range of families. To this end, the Governors offer means-tested bursaries to eligible families, with some awards covering up to 50% of school fees and the possibility for larger awards in exceptional circumstances. This commitment to inclusivity ensures that more students have the opportunity to benefit from the education and community that Alton School offers.
