About us:

Ashville College in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for pupils aged 2–18. Established in 1877 by the United Methodist Free Churches, it has a Methodist ethos but is open to students of all faiths. The school has a long history, originating from a private school and estate called Ashville, and is known as the oldest independent school in Harrogate, encompassing a 60-acre estate. The college, which became fully co-educational in 1982, offers boarding from Year 5 and above in three houses: Briggs House and Mallinson House for senior boys, and Norfolk House for senior girls. Mrs. Rhiannon Wilkinson, with an extensive background in educational leadership, is the current head as of September 2021​​​​​​.
