Brampton College
About us:
Brampton College is a well-regarded co-educational private day school located in London, specifically in a period building in Hendon since 1998, after being founded in 1989 in Golders Green. The college specializes in A-level education for students aged between 15 and 19 years.
The college has an impressive record of academic excellence. It was ranked 3rd nationally in the Department for Education's performance table of independent sixth form colleges as of January 2023 and has been the top sixth form college in London for the last 21 years. Furthermore, in 2020, the Department for Education placed the college in the top 2% of schools and colleges in the country and 5th in London.
The sixth form is a crucial time in a student’s life, marking a period of significant development both academically and personally. Brampton College recognizes this and offers a range of 1 or 2 year A-level courses, or 1 year GCSE courses, led by dedicated and enthusiastic teachers in small classes. This approach ensures individual attention and support for each student, helping them to achieve the highest academic results of London’s private 6th form colleges.
Brampton College is also a choice destination for international students. The school advises early applications, especially for those who may need to apply for a Visa. Non-native speakers are required to have an IELTs score of 5.5 as an entry requirement.
Financially, the college has a structured fee system. The annual fees for Two Year A Level Courses are £24,425, and the college offers a limited number of scholarships to academically outstanding students who are also subject to means testing.
With more than 30 years of experience in sixth form education, Brampton College is considered a leading standalone college for 15-19 year-olds. It is best suited for students with high academic achievement and a strong work ethic, aiming to help each individual succeed in their aspirations and achieve the best possible exam results.
